Todd Barry, Live at the Improv

For years now, I have been watching comedy central. My main vice is the standup comedy especially all of the premium blend and the sole comedy specials, a-la Dane Cook, Gabriel Iglesies, Todd Barry, Todd Glass, Daniel Tosh, Greg Giraldo, Pablo Francisco, and etc....

Well tonight I went to go see Todd Barry live, and he was awesome. Granted he used some of the same bits that I have sen before on the Comedy Central specials, he was still really good. There was another guy ahead of him, the feature performer by the name of Dan Kauffman. This guy is going to go places and people, if you are reading this, look out for this guy. He is gonna be hit in the next 2-3 years, and he will make a name for himself.

In other news, I have a LOT of ideas for chapter 9 and 10 because of drama around me, and I realized something today. The more drama and events in my life, especially dealing with women, the more I have to write about and the more stories I have to tell. It is an interesting phenomenon. So, people can look forward to the additional chapters as well as some extras.

O, and I found my favorite quote - "foolish people never learn from their mistakes, careful people learn from their mistakes, wise people learn from other peoples mistakes"

- think about that one, and tell me you don't like it, I pretty much live by it, I look at everyone around me and analyze them in a way, and look at mistakes that may have been made and take them, and spin them in my mind, so that when I am presented in the same situation as fore mentioned, I will know the right way to react.

Hey Koushik -
A friend forwarded me your post. Thanks for the kind words! Just FYI, my name is spelled "Kaufman" (with one "f") and my website is

http://dankaufman.net

Of course, in 2-3 years you'll know all that anyway, but I thought I'd let you know for the meanwhile.
Thanks again. I'll always remember the people who supported me before I made it big, and by "always" I mean for a week or so.
Best,
Dan
